CESAR MENEGHETTI @ VIDEOGUERRILLA LUANDA

LUANDA. 12th and 13th September 2014 César Meneghetti will present his work in the new videoguerrilha show,  a urban intervention this time in Luanda city public space. The event is inside the context of FENACULT 2014, (National Festival of Angolan Culture) will display the works of selected international artists at the Rua Rainha Ginga. The video guerilla curator Miguel Petchkowsky, also director of the Time Frame Foundation promotes, a series of conferences, workshops and installations linking European, American and African artists. The videoguerrilha show happens since 2010 in several cities such as Amsterdam, Lima, Havana, México City, São Paulo, Shanghai, Durban, Luanda and has the support/logistics of VisualFarm São Paulo.

CESAR MENEGHETTI @ PEACE IS THE FUTURE

ANTWERP. 7-9 September  2014  in the event PEACE IS THE FUTURE - a dialogue after 100 years after the WWI the artists César Meneghetti, Jusuf Hadžifejzović, Johannes Wickert, the writer Nedim Gursel and the Art Historian Simonetta Lux will held a conference entitled "Art: between conflict and peace" (PANEL 14). The event programme will have 25 panels with 150 speakers, among them Zygmunt Bauman, Mario Marazitti, Mario Morcone,  Samir Franjieh, Sudheedra Kulkarni and many of the representatives of the Christian Churches and Ecclesial Communities. The topics start from  the civil society from all over the world, as well as representatives of the newly elected European institutions, will discuss current issues such as the relationship between religions and violence, economy in the service of peace, sustainable development, fight against poverty and also a special focus on some critical areas: Nigeria and Iraq. The congress is promoted by the Community of San'Egidio and will be held at the Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, Campus Groenplaats, Aula GR 308, Nationalestraat, Antwerp, Belgium.
